Paul Pogba’s return to the Manchester United first team will help get even more out of Bruno Fernandes, according to captain Harry Maguire.

Fernandes has impressed since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in January, scoring three goals in nine appearances.

Pogba is fit again after ankle surgery and should be ready to make his comeback once the Premier League returns and Maguire is keen to see United’s two most creative midfielders play together.

“[Fernandes] been brilliant since he’s come in, off the field around the training ground, he’s a leader and wants to win,” Maguire told Sky Sports.cheap nfl jerseys nike

“He’s just given us that little bit more life and creativity in the middle, something United fans have said we’ve missed over the years.1

“We’ve got Paul to come back as well, who I’m sure will probably make him lift his game even more.

“We have a lot of competition in that centre midfield now, they know they have to be on their game to keep their spot, so I’m sure we’ll see the benefit.”buy nike nfl jerseys cheap

The suspension of football across Europe halted an 11-game unbeaten run for United, who are still challenging for the Europa League, FA Cup and a place in the top four.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team have finally found some consistency after a mixed start to the season but Maguire insists there is still a lot of room for improvement.

“I think you can see from the start of the season we look a lot more like a team and we can probably see where we want to go and where we want to head,” Maguire said.

“I knew when I first came to that Ole said to me loads and loads that it’s a building process but we will get to where we want to be and I can see where we’re heading and the style that he wants to implement on our team.

“There’s still plenty of aspects where we need to improve to get to the top where we want to be. We don’t want to be challenging for Champions League spots we want to be challenging for titles.”
